Job Overview
This Senior Account Manager / Account Director role is a hands on leadership position where you'll combine strategic thinking with day to day campaign delivery. Rather than managing from a distance, you'll remain actively involved in media relations, client strategy and campaign execution while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the commercial growth of the agency.

Working directly alongside the founder, you'll have the opportunity to influence business decisions, grow client relationships and help shape the future direction of the agency.

Here's what you'll be doing:
Owning client relationships from initial strategy through to campaign deliveryLeading integrated PR campaigns across UK and international marketsDeveloping media strategies that generate impactful coverage across print, broadcast and digital mediaBriefing and preparing client spokespeople for media interviewsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and media contactsProducing campaign reports that demonstrate meaningful business impact and media valueMentoring and developing junior PR professionals across pitching, writing and client managementIdentifying opportunities to grow existing client accountsSupporting new business activity, including proposals, presentations and client pitchesWorking closely with senior leadership to support the continued growth of the agency
Here are the skills you'll need:
At least 3 to 5 years' experience working within a UK PR agencyCurrently working as a Senior Account Manager or an experienced Account Manager ready to step upExcellent media relations skills with a proven track record of securing high quality coverageStrong client management experience with the confidence to provide strategic adviceOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsExperience managing multiple client accounts simultaneouslyPrevious experience mentoring or managing junior team membersCommercial awareness with the ability to identify account growth opportunitiesBroadcast media experience would be advantageous but is not essentialCharismatic, curious and commercially minded with a proactive approach to client service
