Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

A contractor specialising in civils is seeking an experienced Estimator / Quantity Surveyor role to join their team in West Sussex.

Salary: £50,000 – £65,000
Start Date: ASAP
Work Arrangement: Full-time
Work Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Estimating: Prepare cost estimates for projects ranging from £10K to £3 million.
• Quantity Surveying: Perform QS duties as part of the dual role.
• Project Analysis: Analyze project specifications and plans for accurate cost assessments.
• Client Communication: Liaise with clients to clarify project requirements and provide updates.
• Reporting: Maintain detailed records of estimates and project budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in estimating within the construction industry.
• Skills: Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with estimating software and tools.
• Education: Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field.
