Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship – The Nobel School

The successful candidate will assist the class teacher with resource preparation, support learning, including:

Supporting the emotional well-being of students individually and in small groups Delivering planned learning sessions under the guidance of the SENDCo Observing and providing feedback on students’ progress Supervising morning literacy and after-school homework sessions Helping run lunchtime activities like the games club Assisting students in various settings, including lessons, small group work, and targeted interventions (e.g. literacy, reading, phonics, spelling) Helping with SEND team duties such as supervising The Bridge, study sessions, school trips, and exam support Providing exam access support (e.g. reading, scribing, prompting) in line with regulations, and completing necessary training Participating in and helping deliver training to support vulnerable pupils Occasionally, supervise whole classes or small groups during times like wet play Monitoring and recording students' progress during interventions Attending staff meetings and training Using equipment such as printers and laminators as needed

Training:
Study towards a relevant qualification, Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma On-the-job training and mentoring from experienced professionals Regular review meetings to track progress and development

Training Outcome:
Potential full-time employment for the right candidate upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
