Commis Chef Apprenticeship

Assisting the Head Chef with daily food preparation and learning fundamental cooking techniques during busy pub services. Maintaining strict food hygiene standards, which includes keeping the kitchen clean and completing end-of-shift deep cleaning. Receiving ingredient deliveries, ensuring correct stock rotation and setting up your station ready for service.

Training:
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Training Outcome:

The expected career progression is to become Head Chef and lead the kitchen independently.



Employer Description:

We are a successful, traditional English pub with a team of 20 people. We serve classic pub dishes alongside pizzas made in our dedicated wood-fired oven, and we host special events, buffets, live music, and traditional Sunday roasts.



Working Hours :
Wednesday to Sunday. Shifts TBC.
