Equine Groom Apprentice - Livery Yard
All daily yard duties to include:
Mucking out, feeding and turnout Lunging Grooming and tacking up Maintaining high standards of horse care and yard presentation Learning and developing new skills in a professional environment Some riding available for the right candidateTraining:
You will be working towards the Level 2 Equine apprenticeship qualification, and all training will be provided on-site during your paid working hours Your day-to-day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach
Training Outcome:
There is the possibility to progress on to level 3 Senior Equine Groom or to a full-time job for the right candidate.
Employer Description:
Buckleap Stables is a well-established equestrian yard based in Arnold, Nottingham, offering full, part and assisted livery services. The yard is home to around 60 horses, including competition horses, resting and retired racehorses. With a range of facilities including a floodlit ménage, lunge pen, off-road hacking, cross-country jumps and a jump field, Buckleap provides a varied environment for both horses and riders.
Working Hours :
Working between Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm and with some weekend working and 1 hour lunch break.
