Electrical/Mechanical Apprentice

   Understanding Health & Safety.    Mechanical fitting duties.    Electrical fitting duties.    On-site working.    Overnights (when required) .    How to read technical drawings mechanical and electrical     General workshop duties.    Undertake building/assembly of new machines.    Reconditioning of used machinery.    Repairing and maintaining customers machines.

Training:

Four-Day Block release via North Warwickshire & South Leicestershire College – Mira Technology Institute (MTI). 

Monday – Thursday once in every 6-week learning cycle. 

On the job learning with support and mentoring.

Training Outcome:
To become a qualified competent Electrical/Mechanical fitter and develop further within the business – Rewarding career in a vibrant industry.

Employer Description:
A multi-site Company who manufactures/supplies and repairs machinery for the glass and stone industry.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm Friday 7.30am - 12.30 pm
