Heritage Engineering Technician Apprenticeship (Mechanical – Classic Vehicle restoration)

This apprenticeship combines old-school engineering with cutting-edge technology.

Assisting with the fault diagnosis, servicing, restoration and engine rebuilds You will be taught about history and development of vehicles, components, materials, and turn around the most complex restoration projects in a timely manner while still retaining the Aldon Automotive hallmark of quality for being one of the longest established tuning companies in the UK Attending trade shows, exhibitions and race shows/race meetings

Training Outcome:

On completion of the Programme, you will be qualified as a Heritage Engineering Technician. Employment with Aldon Automotive Ltd after completion of the apprenticeship is not guaranteed but highly likely, subject to your performance and a position being available.

With over 40 years’ experience of supplying Weber carburettors, replacement jets for tuning and calibration, as well as replacement parts for Vintage, Classic, Kit cars and motorsports.  Aldon Automotive, based 10 miles west of Birmingham, is one of the longest established tuning companies in the UK, fully equipped with a 280 bhp 2-wheel drive rolling road for tuning and fault diagnosis of competition and fast road cars, as well as Classic and Historic cars.  Our workshops can undertake customer classic and sports car requirements including Servicing, Restoration and Engine builds.
