We are an established building services provider specialising in insurance repairs, property restoration and maintenance works within domestic homes.
Operating across Norfolk and Suffolk, we have built a strong reputation for dependable service, quality workmanship and looking after our customers.
Our work often involves helping homeowners following incidents that have caused damage to their property, so the quality of both our workmanship and customer service is extremely important.
Due to continued growth and a strong workload, we are now looking for an experienced Plumber to join our team covering Thetford and the surrounding area.
About the role
This is a varied, hands-on role carrying out plumbing repairs and associated works within customers' homes, including properties affected by insurance-related incidents.
Rather than being based on one site, you will travel to different properties within your allocated area using the company van provided.
You will be trusted to assess problems, identify the most appropriate solution and complete repairs to a high standard. You'll also be representing the company when working in customers' homes, so a professional, respectful and helpful approach is just as important as your technical ability.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Carrying out domestic plumbing repairs and installationsAttending insurance-related repair and restoration worksDiagnosing plumbing faults and identifying appropriate solutionsRepairing and replacing plumbing fixtures and componentsCompleting work efficiently and to a high standardWorking safely and following relevant proceduresMaintaining a clean and tidy working environment within customers' homesCommunicating professionally with customers about the work being undertakenCompleting job paperwork and providing updates to the office teamManaging your daily workload and appointments effectivelyWorking alongside other trades where requiredHighlighting any additional works or issues identified while on siteSkills and Experience
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Plumber who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working independently.
You should have:
Proven experience working as a PlumberStrong domestic plumbing repair and maintenance experienceGood fault-finding and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage your daily workloadHigh standards of workmanshipGood understanding of safe working practicesProfessional and respectful approach when working in occupied homesReliable and organised approachGood communication skillsFull UK driving licenceExperience within insurance repairs, property restoration or domestic maintenance would be beneficial, although this isn't essential if you have strong plumbing experience.
