Chef – Residential Care Setting - Winchester

Nurse Seekers are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Chef to join a welcoming residential care setting.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a Chef who takes pride in preparing fresh, nutritious and appetising home-cooked meals while creating a positive dining experience for residents. You’ll play an important role in supporting residents’ wellbeing through great food, thoughtful menu planning and a caring approach.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

Preparing and cooking nutritious, home-cooked meals and snacksCatering for a range of dietary requirementsWorking with residents to understand their food preferencesCreating enjoyable dining experiencesMaintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standardsTaking part in activities such as baking and bread making with residentsWorking as part of a friendly and supportive team

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced and passionate about cookingCaring, patient and approachableCreative and enthusiastic about foodOrganised with excellent communication skillsConfident working independently and as part of a teamFlexible and able to adapt to residents’ individual needsIn possession of a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
