Children in Care Social Worker

A Local Authority is looking for a Qualified Social Worker for their Children in Care service in Bradford. This is a permanent and full-time position that is hybrid working.

You must have a Diploma/Degree in Social Work and the right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship)

Managing cases for children in care Completing assessments, care plans, and statutory visits Safeguarding children and promoting their wellbeing Working with families, foster carers, schools, and partner agencies Supporting placement stability and permanency planning Attending reviews, meetings, and court hearings Helping young people prepare for independence Keeping accurate records and reports Ensuring the child’s voice is heard in decision-making.

About you

The successful candidate will have experience within frontline teams post qualification and whilst having an up-to-date understanding of relevant legislation.
