CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Facilities Management organisation, working on a major healthcare contract in Birmingham.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in FM, maintenance, construction or building services projects to take full responsibility for the delivery of variations, lifecycle and small capital projects across a large and complex estate.

The successful candidate will manage projects from initial concept through to completion, taking responsibility for project delivery, commercial performance, health & safety, contractors and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities
Take full responsibility for the delivery of variations, lifecycle and small capital projects from inception through to completionManage project budgets, P&L, costs, margins and financial performanceDevelop and maintain project plans, ensuring works are delivered on time and within budgetBuild and maintain strong relationships with end client, SPV, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholdersCoordinate contractors, suppliers and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered efficientlyIdentify and manage project risks, implementing appropriate mitigation measuresEnsure all projects comply with relevant health & safety, CDM, building regulations and statutory requirementsReview and provide input into designs, specifications, drawings and tender documentationMonitor contractor performance, workmanship, working practices and health & safetyManage snagging, defects and project close-out within agreed timescalesEnsure works are carefully planned to minimise disruption to patients, staff and building users within a live healthcare environmentManage financial processes including invoicing, receipting, payment applications and change controlSupport the wider Project, Lifecycle and Operational teams to ensure contractual requirements and KPIs are achievedContribute to continuous improvement and effective project governance across the site
Requirements
Proven experience as a Project Manager within Facilities Management, Building Services, Construction or MaintenanceStrong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, costs and supplier contracts as well as managing contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teamsExperience managing small works, lifecycle or capital projects across a large and complex estateGood knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and ProjectExperience using CAFM, estates or project management systemsStrong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work autonomously, manage multiple projects and deliver against challenging deadlines
