Engineering Apprentice
Duties would include but not necessarily be limited to:
Assembly of parts / sub-assemblies / products Calibration of products Working with machinery (Mill machine, Drills, Bandsaw etc) Packing and labelling of goods for shipping Receiving deliveries / storage of goods.Training:
You will work towards a Level 3 Engineering Fitter Apprenticeship Standard with weekly day release at Gateshead College.
Training Outcome:
Possible progression to full time employment following successful completion of the Apprenticeship.

Environmental Measurements Limited (EML) was established in 1985. Back in the early 80's a new type of rain gauge was developed with an aerodynamic shape. This was our first product, the ARG100. We stopped producing the ARG100 in 2019 and replaced it with the ARG314 which takes advantage of modern manufacturing techniques. Since then EML have added a feast of Hydro-Met products to the range along with over 20 years services and project management for small and large clients.
EML are the friendly Hydro-Met team that get the job done.
Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 5.00 with 30 minutes lunch break). Friday flexible (To be confirmed). Contracted hours: 36 hours minimum and 40 hours maximum. Yearly salary: £14,976 on 36 hours or £16,640 on 40 hours.
