Job Title: Transport Clerk 
Location: Rugby
Pay Rate: £14.78 to £24.36 p/h
Working Hours: Working any 5 out of 7 or 4 on 4 off

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for a Transport Clerk in Rugby to work for our client, who are one of the UK's best known supermarket chains.

Transport Clerk - the role & responsibilities:
The role will include: 
Working within the Transport department and reporting directly to the Transport FLMDispatching drivers and completing driver briefs and debriefsMonitoring transport activities and proactively supporting the safe and efficient running of the operationMaintaining fleet compliance records and escalating vehicle defects as requiredCompleting transport administration accurately and in line with company procedures and transport legislationMaintaining transport systems and completing operational reporting accurately and in a timely mannerInvestigating and resolving operational issues, escalating where appropriateCommunicating effectively with drivers, agencies and internal stakeholdersSupporting shift handovers to ensure continuity across the operationEnsuring Health & Safety standards and site rules are followed at all timesSupporting the achievement of transport KPIs and service levels.

Requirements: 
You must be confident using a computer and be great with communication. An excellent attention to detail is essential, and the ability to work under pressure in a busy, noisy environment. Whilst we would like you to have previous experience, full training will be given.
