Senior Conference Producer - Maternity Cover

We are looking for a Senior Conference Producer to join our events team in September/October on a maternity cover basis, managing content and delivery across a portfolio of more than 20 live and virtual healthcare events.

You will take responsibility for the content and delivery of events across at least three leading healthcare brands: Nursing in Practice, Management in Practice and Clinical Excellence.
The portfolio includes approximately 20 live and virtual events, including around 10 face-to-face events across the UK.
This is a hands-on role covering the full event lifecycle, from researching topics and developing conference programmes through to recruiting speakers, hosting virtual events and managing agendas onsite.
You will also work closely with editorial, sales and marketing teams to ensure events deliver strong audience engagement, delegate satisfaction and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Research and develop engaging healthcare conference programmesCarry out primary and secondary research to identify relevant topics and themesRecruit and manage expert speakersCoordinate speaker biographies, presentations, photographs and expensesLiaise with sponsors regarding workshops and sponsored sessionsDevelop engaging formats for live and virtual sessionsWork with sales teams to identify commercial opportunitiesManage speakers and agendas at face-to-face events across the UKBrief speakers and ensure sessions run smoothly and to scheduleHost and manage virtual events from the backendCreate webinar staging pages and Zoom linksCoordinate sponsor approvals where requiredUpdate and proof event websitesSupport the creation of on-demand and post-event contentWork with marketing teams on event messaging, emails and promotional copyIdentify potential marketing partnerships and contra opportunitiesMonitor competitors and developments within the healthcare events marketMaintain an understanding of relevant healthcare and pharmaceutical compliance requirementsWhat We're Looking For
You will need:
At least two years' conference production experienceExperience managing events from initial research through to deliveryStrong primary and secondary research skillsExperience recruiting and managing speakersFace-to-face event delivery experienceExcellent project management and organisational skillsThe ability to manage several events and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong communication and relationship-building skillsConfidence working with senior speakers, sponsors, clients and internal teamsA good understanding of the commercial drivers behind eventsExcellent attention to detailStrong Microsoft Office skillsThe ability to work independently and take ownership of projectsWillingness to travel within the UK, including occasional overnight staysDesirable Experience
