IT Support Technician Apprentice – The Rise Partnership Trust – NW10 3NT – £23,858 – 36hrs/w

Configure, update, and maintain:

Servers, including online backup systems and network attached storage

PCs, laptops, iPads, A/V equipment, and photocopiers (MFDs)

Online systems and services, e.g. LGfL, Arbor, Google Workspace, etc.

 

Deal with daily IT issues (as per the trust’s reporting system), setting priorities and timelines as appropriate and with the Head of IT and Director Communications, IT, and Data  Effectively communicate with staff re; issues/faults and their resolution  Setup IT equipment & resources for trust events, inc. assemblies, meetings, and CPD  Contribute to the development of support/training materials for use by staff in CPD sessions and as part of the trust’s IT knowledgebase  Support the maintenance of the trust’s assessment systems (Digital PIPs and Small Steps), ensuring that all pupils have the correct assessment workbooks, and support users with their queries.  Take part in IT Team meetings to discuss and plan the development of IT across the trust  Take part in regular on-the-job training sessions to further increase skills and knowledge of trust IT systems and good practice

Training:
Expected duration:  17 months Apprenticeship level: Level 3 Programme: Information Communication Technician 

During this apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with LearnTech, delivered through combined weekly remote classroom-based training, workplace assessment/training and online learning working towards completing the Information Communication Technician standard.

Training Outcome:

Upon completion, the apprentice will have a Level 3 qualification as an Information Communications Technician.
