Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship - mechanical
The apprenticeship is designed to build future capability and succession within the production team. The successful apprentices will rotate through relevant work areas, follow structured training plans, and progressively take on more responsibility as competence grows.
Support basic sheet metal activities such as marking out, drilling, deburring, grinding, folding and fitting.
Preparation of parts under supervision.
Learn to read simple drawings, operation sheets and work instructions.
Understand how dimensions, tolerances and finish affect part quality.
Training:
This is a Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship, Mechanical pathway, delivered over a period of 15 months.
The apprentice will attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Telford TF3 3AG, 1 day per week for the first year, and the company for the rest of the time accompanied by assessor visits.
Training Outcome:
Become an engineering mechanical operator.

Working Hours :
8.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday.
