Apprentice Dental Nurse/Receptionist

* Assisting the Dentist, Dental Therapist with all different kinds of dental treatment.

* Making sure that the patient is comfortable and supported throughout their visit.

* Making appointments

* Taking payments

* Answering the telephone

Training Outcome:

Completion of the apprenticeship leads to qualification as a Dental Nurse, with opportunities to progress into roles such as Lead Dental Nurse, Oral Health Educator, Treatment Coordinator, Radiography-qualified Nurse, or further development into Practice Management

Employer Description:

We are an NHS family dental practice based in Stockport. We offer standard NHS care but also private options. The practice has Orthodontic practitioners and also a visiting oral surgeon.

Working Hours :
The practice is open 8:45am-5:30pm Mon-Fri (late night on a Thursday until 7:30pm and 8:45am-1:30pm on a Saturday. The hours will vary and will include weekend sessions and some adhoc evenings. Time off is given for off the job studies.
