Production Operative Apprentice

During your apprenticeship, you will gain experience in:
Manufacturing and assembly processes in a real and modern manufacturing environment Reading engineering drawings and instructions Safe use of tools and equipment Quality inspection and testing Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement Problem solving and teamwork Health & Safety best practicesYou'll receive structured training whilst gaining real-world experience in a busy manufacturing environment.
You will work as part of our Production team, helping manufacture:
Acoustic Attenuators Fan Coil Units Louvres and Air Movement ProductsTypical activities will include:
Assembling products and components Using hand and power tools Carrying out quality checks Working alongside experienced team members Learning how manufacturing processes operate Contributing ideas to improve safety, quality and productivityTraining:
The apprenticeship training is delivered through a combination of workplace learning and regular college attendance. This training will teach you the knowledge, skills and behaviours set out in the Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2 pathway. On completion the apprentice will receive the Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative Qualification. Functional Skills in Maths and English may also be required depending on current level.
Training Outcome:
No previous manufacturing experience is required. We are looking for motivated individuals with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic. Our intention is that our apprentices will have the opportunity to develop into our future leaders within our Production Centre, potentially becoming Cell Leaders or Supervisors over time.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday: 8am - 5pm. Friday: 6am - 12pm.
