Assembling various projects Finishing - de-buring, tapping, flame hardening, etc. Grinding Site work (this will be a progression after certain competencies are shown)
Fabrication experience:
Welding Laser cutting Sheet metal forming Tool, jig and fixture making - to aid with fitting and fabrication and some for customers Machining experience (although not integral to a fitting course we believe it is useful to understand processes prior and post fitting) Exposure to practical applications of principles such as limits, fits and tolerances VarietyTraining:
Engineering Fitter Level 3.
Training Outcome:
Opportunity to progress to a full-time job after the apprenticeship has been completed.
