Apprentice Gardener

Day to day work will vary but will include: 

Ground maintenance Herbaceous border management Plant propagation Tree pruning (ornamental and fruit) Seed harvesting Vegetable production Herb growing and propagation

Occasionally support the wider work of the Farm & Conservation team.

Training:

One day per week at Plumpton College during term times. 

Training Outcome:

Managing their own garden within the estate or promotion to Lead Gardener or Head Gardener.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm with a 30 minute paid lunch. Occasional weekend work.
