Care Support Apprentice - Key Responsibilities:

As a Care Support Apprentice, you will learn how to provide high-quality care and support to people in their own homes while developing valuable skills and experience.

You will:

Support individuals with their daily routines while promoting independence, dignity, and respect Read and understand care plans, risk assessments, and guidance to provide safe and personalised support Help with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and supporting with toileting where required Support with mobility, moving and handling, and safely using equipment Prepare meals and drinks, and support individuals with eating and drinking Support with medication in line with training, care plans, and company procedures Complete accurate care records using digital systems and report any changes or concerns Provide companionship, conversation, and social support to help reduce isolation Support with light household tasks such as laundry, shopping, and maintaining a safe environment Work closely with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements at all times Attend training sessions, team meetings, supervisions, and reviews to continue developing your skills Wear the correct uniform and represent the organisation professionally Ensure personal transport requirements are met if driving between visits

Working Hours :
Monday - Sunday 7.00am - 2.00pm (one weekend or alternative weekend per month with 30 minutes lunch break).
