Classic Car Bodyshop Apprentice

Working alongside experienced technicians, you will support a range of vehicle restoration, repair, and fabrication activities while developing practical skills in:

Paint preparation and surface finishing Paint spraying and refinishing processes Fibreglass repair and restoration Filler application and panel preparation Metalwork repair and panel replacement Welding and fabrication Rust identification, treatment, and repair Custom vehicle modifications and bespoke project work Mechanical dismantling, inspection, repair, and reassembly

This role involves working on a variety of restoration and repair projects, following safe working practices, maintaining workshop standards, and assisting with the repair, modification, and finishing of vehicles and vehicle components.



Training Outcome:

Progression to a full time paint or body shop technician.

We specialise in restoring veteran, vintage, and classic vehicles. Our meticulous and detailed approach ensures that every project receives the attention it deserves, and only the very best level of repair and workmanship possible.  The workshop trades as a normal, commercial garage and all profits made are donated to the Haynes Motor Museum, to help it fulfill it's charitable aims.  We carry out MOTs, service work, repairs and full restoration on all types of vehicles, but fully specialise is classic cars.



Working Hours :
Shifts within Monday to Friday, 8.30am until 5.00pm.
