Equine Groom Apprentice - Livery Yard and Stud
All daily yard duties to include :
Mucking out, feeding and turnout Lunging Grooming and tacking up Maintaining high standards of horse care and yard presentation Learning and developing new skills in a professional environment Posibility to bring your own horse (contribution required) Some riding available for the right candidate
Training Outcome:
There is the posibility to progress on to level 3 Senior Equine Groom or to a full-time job for the right candidate.

Fosshey Stables and Hanoverian Stud offer the North West's only Hanoverian Stud. The centre’s experience and expertise are second to none, and Fosshey prides itself on having had 3 Hanoverian championship winners, including the 2013 Supreme Champion.
The centre also offers a high class full livery service and are adept at dealing with backing and problem horses. Also available is holistic package of care with Reiki healing, horse whispering and rehabilitation services.
Established by proprietors Ian and Sandra Tinker in 2000. Sandra is a highly experienced horsewoman, who has ridden and competed in all disciplines across the years. Ian concentrates on the land and yard management. Fosshey’s professional stud and mare services began in 2004 and offers pure bred Hanoverian horses from the very best German bloodlines.
Working Hours :
Working days will be discussed with the right candidate. It can be 4- or 5-day week. We start at 7:30am until 4:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break. Due to the nature of the role weekend work should be expected.
