Finance Apprentice

Working in partnership, HWGTA are recruiting Accountancy Apprentices for local Companies.

Here is an example of what the role will include: 

Learning vital office skills including planning, organising, filing, processing, and managing correspondence Processing invoices and resolving queries Handling banking, reconciliations, and petty cash Checking and maintaining high-quality transactional data

Training:

Formal training is delivered at HWGTA, located at Mc Kenzie Way, Worcester WR4 9GN.

You will receive training one day per week which is a combination of face-to-face and remote, as per your assigned training plan. 

Additional training for functional skills in English and Maths will be undertaken if needed.

You will receive monthly visits from your assigned Learning and Development Specialist, who will set you work, monitor your development and wellbeing, and discuss training sessions. They will also prepare you for your End Point Assessment to gain your Accounts/ Finance Assistant Level 2 qualification.

There is also a five-day teambuilding residential trip that is held in the spring of each year offered to all apprentices on programme.

Training Outcome:

Progression is available to AAT4, with some companies offering ACCA

Working Hours :
The hours of work will be between 35 and 40 hours per week dependant on the company.
