Low Carbon Heating Technician Apprentice

Assist with the installation, servicing, and maintenance of low-carbon heating systems, including heat pumps and solar thermal systems Learn how to diagnose faults and carry out repairs under the guidance and supervision of experienced engineers Support site surveys, system inspections, and performance assessments Work alongside senior technicians to ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company procedures Maintain accurate records of work completed, including job reports and installation documentation Follow all health and safety policies and procedures to ensure safe working practices on site Develop technical knowledge and practical skills through on-the-job training and formal apprenticeship learning Use tools, equipment, and materials safely and responsibly, ensuring they are maintained and stored correctly Communicate professionally with colleagues, customers, and other contractors when required Demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to achieving apprenticeship milestones and qualifications

Training:
You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession You will experience a blended learning model This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Construction Campus This attendance is required during term time only This is a work based programme which means that predominantly, your learning will take place on the site of your employment and within your contracted working hours

Training Outcome:
Opportunity to progress onto a Full Plumbing / electrical apprenticeship if required by the company Also the opportunity to complete other industry training when required
