Community Activator Coach Apprenticeship
Maintain a high standard of delivery for all programmes, adhering to the Foundation’s quality assurance framework Assist in the planning, delivery and evaluation of all coaching and education sessions for girls, boys and disabled players Assist in ensuring registration and monitoring information is collected and data entry completed as required to meet quality management standards and deadlines Assist in ensuring the appropriate supervision and safeguarding of participants, following Foundation policies and procedures Adhere to Foundation policy and procedures to ensure that risks associated with programmes are effectively managed Adhere to Foundation procedures to ensure the protection and safeguarding of staff, volunteers, contractors and the general public Work with staff to regularly identify and share good news stories with the Marketing & Communications Manager Participate in a wide range of community events and activities as required Commit to keeping relevant qualifications and certificates up to date and identify opportunities to enhance personal skills & knowledge, and attend agreed informal and formal learning activities Present a professional image of Newcastle United Foundation at all times, wearing officially branded kit when appropriate
This apprenticeship is part-funded and supported by Coach Core's charitable programme, creating employment opportunities for 16–24-year-olds who have faced barriers to education, employment or career progression. We support young people with the potential to succeed who may have experienced financial disadvantage, additional learning needs, caring responsibilities or other personal or socio-economic challenges. No previous experience is required – we're looking for enthusiasm, potential and a willingness to learn. Coach Core provides additional support throughout the apprenticeship, while the employer is responsible for the final recruitment decision.
