Dispensing of medication to patients Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & safety responsibility Rotation of stock Use of patient record systems and use of smart cards Data entry relating to medication Labelling and dispensing Accuracy and attention to detail Working within a team environment Liaison with doctors, surgery and health professionals Completion of apprenticeship work on time

Training:
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 and Functional Skills if required

Training Outcome:
Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship; A possible permanent position within the organisation

A pharmacy based in Southend-On-Sea are hoping to recruit a hardworking and determined candidate to work within their small team of qualified professionals, as an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday between hours of 8.30am- 7.00pm, Some Saturdays on a rota. Shifts to be decided on interview
