Apprentice Engineering Maintenance Technician - Electrical

Working under supervision you will work towards being responsible for the following tasks:

Carrying out checks and maintenance outlined within Planned, Preventative Maintenance Carry out repair fault diagnosis breakdown on belts chains drivers, safety checks Servicing of equipment repair & replacement Carry out reasonable instructions Ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained show due diligence Comply with company policies and procedures Carry out reasonable requests to meet the needs of the business Working alongside experienced and qualified staff you will learn  the core skills Working under supervision you will work towards being responsible for a range of tasks including

Training Outcome:
Apprenticeship may lead to permanent employment. Further in-house and external training and development available. Potential L4 / HNC for the right candidate at the right time.

Aintree Plastics have over 25 years experience extruding and converting polythene films to the Industrial and the Food & Beverage markets. We have been supplying polythene materials to the packaging industry since 1995 and Aintree Plastics is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of recyclable plastic films and liners. Working Hours :
Starting at 38 hours per week and move to 42 as the apprenticeship progresses. ½ hour unpaid lunch 8:00am- 4.30pm Monday to Thursday. 8:00am- 2.30pm Friday. Start date with Aintree Plastics 24-08-2026 Start date with NWTC September 2026
