Apprentice Painter and Decorator

Work alongside experienced painters and decorators. Prepare surfaces and materials for painting. Apply paint, coatings and finishes to a high standard. Use painting tools and equipment safely and effectively. Learn different painting and decorating techniques. Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment. Develop practical skills and knowledge towards the Level 2 Painter apprenticeship.

Training:

You will attend Stoke on Trent College (Burslem Campus) once a week to complete your off the job training. 

Depending on your GCSE grades, you may need to upskill and complete maths and/or English Functional Skills. 

Training Outcome:

Potential opportunity for permanent employment on successful completion of your apprenticeship.

F. O'DONNELL & SONS (Painters and Decorators) Ltd. is a large, family run, commercial painting and decorating
company established in 1969 by Frank O'Donnell and currently run by Peter (Commercial Director)
and James (Operations Director).

The Company directly employs FORTY fully qualified, CITB CSCS accredited painters and decorators, operating
throughout the North West, West Midlands and North Wales regions and carrying out projects ranging in value from
£5,000 to £1,000,000.

We take health and safety very seriously and are CHAS and Constructionline accredited and are a
member of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA). The Company is also a member of the
Painting and Decorating Association.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday - hours to be confirmed at interview.
