THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is partnered with a market leading global food manufacturer, based in Rochester.

After successful year on year growth, they’re looking to hire an Assistant Accountant to join their growing fiancé team and work closely with the Head of Finance.

The Assistant Accountant will join a growing finance team and be responsible for;
ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

Review Balance Sheet reconciliations
Assist local finance where required with statutory audit/tax inspection requirements and requests.
Reviewing reconciliations between statutory P/L and Tax P/L reporting and filings.
Work alongside the Head of Finance and assist with month end and statutory Accounts.
Review compliance to internal audit process and lead the resolution.
External Audits – Liaise with lead auditor to review external audits.

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Studying towards AAT or CIMA or ACCA qualification
Intermediate MS Excel
Assistant Accountant or Financial Accountant experience in a previous role
ERP Systems experience desirable.

FOR THIS THE ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT WILL RECEIVE A COMPETITIVE SALARY OF UP TO £40,000 BASE + BENEFITS
