Service Advisor - Automotive

An opportunity has arisen for a Service Advisor to join a commercial vehicle dealer specialising in the sale, servicing, and repair of vans and trucks supporting businesses with new and Approved Used vehicles, genuine parts, and comprehensive aftersales services. As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for customers, coordinating vehicle service and repair work while ensuring a smooth aftersales experience. This full-time role offers a salary of £32,600 - £34,200 per annum, plus a performance-related bonus of up to £1,720 per annum and benefits. We are looking for two Advisors, one on a permanent basis and one on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover. You will be responsible for: ? Welcoming customers in person and over the telephone in a professional manner. ? Booking vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair appointments. ? Preparing and managing repair orders using the dealership management system. ? Completing vehicle check-in procedures, recording vehicle condition and customer requirements. ? Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process. ? Obtaining approval for any additional work identified during servicing. ? Arranging vehicle collections, deliveries and customer handovers. ? Ensuring service documentation is accurate to support invoicing and workshop administration. ? Reviewing vehicle service records to identify suitable maintenance recommendations. ? Delivering a high standard of customer service throughout the customer journey. ? Supporting the day-to-day running of the service department. What we are looking for: ? Previously worked as a Service Advisor, Service Adviser, Service Receptionist, Service Administrator, Aftersales Advisor, Customer Service Advisor or in a similar role. ?
