Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship - Wimborne Primary School

Working with young people aged between 4 and 11 years Supporting a teacher in various roles within the classroom Supporting young people with their learning Supporting young people with specific education needs (SEND), including running intervention groups Be involved in creating displays and preparing resources Understand the safeguarding and behaviour policy and their role within these policies Ability to always conduct yourself in a professional manner whilst working in schools An eagerness to learn more about becoming a Teaching Assistant A passion for working with children Relevant personal qualities including patience and communication Ability to always show professionalism Ability to listen and learn from more experienced staff

Training:
Teaching Assistant level 3 Apprenticeship Standard 20% off the job training  Tutor support via online platform

Training Outcome:
Permanent role considered on completion of the apprenticeship  Higher level teaching assistant apprenticeship available

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday - Term time only 8.45am - 3.25pm.
