Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Head of Business Partnering will lead a team of finance business partners and act as the commercial conscience of the organisation. It is a high-visibility role with real influence over how the business makes decisions, and the scope to shape how finance supports a large, fast-moving consultancy through its next phase of growth.

The Role

Lead, develop and grow a team of finance business partners supporting operational and commercial leadersOwn the commercial finance relationship with business unit heads, turning performance into clear, actionable insightDrive budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning across the business unitsPartner on pricing, bid and project profitability analysis to protect and improve marginProvide decision support on investment, resourcing and growth initiativesStrengthen management reporting and KPIs so leaders can act on them quicklyIdentify and drive commercial improvement opportunities across the portfolioAct as a trusted adviser to senior operational and finance stakeholders

What does the right candidate look like?

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifiedEducated to degree levelA track record of career progression through finance roles of increasing responsibilityExperience in a finance business partnering or commercial finance role, ideally within a large or multi-site organisationStrong analytical skills, with the ability to turn financial data into commercial insightA confident communicator, able to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
