We're partnered with a unique hospitality destination that's looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join their culinary leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on kitchen leader who enjoys leading from the line, developing people, and creating systems that keep a busy kitchen running at its best. The operation features a high-volume restaurant alongside a thriving private events and catering business, making every day different.

We're looking for someone who is organized, calm under pressure, and passionate about quality, consistency, and building a positive kitchen culture.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting the Executive Chef with all day-to-day back-of-house operationsLeading and mentoring the kitchen team while fostering a positive, team-first cultureJumping onto any station during service to support the team when neededManaging ordering, inventory, scheduling, labour, and food cost controlsMaintaining food quality, consistency, presentation, and portion standardsEnsuring all health, safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations are consistently metMonitoring prep, production, and inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiencyDeveloping and maintaining kitchen systems, workflows, and standard operating proceduresAssisting with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance development of culinary team membersSupporting a busy catering and events program alongside restaurant operations

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or similar kitchen leadership roleBackground in an full-service restaurant – no QSRStrong experience with ordering, inventory management, scheduling, and labour controlsHands-on leader who enjoys cooking and working alongside the team during serviceExperience with POS and inventory systems (Toast experience is an asset)Banquet or catering experience is a strong advantageStrong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations
