Location: Worksop (office based) | Hours: 37.5 hrs/week, 5 days | Contract: Full-time, permanent | Reports to: Practice Owner | Salary: £45,000

What You'll Be Doing

Managing and developing your own varied portfolio of clients across the industrial, transport and farming sectorsPreparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax computations and returnsGiving clients clear, timely advice on personal and corporate tax mattersPreparing statutory and management accounts to a high standardBuilding strong, lasting client relationships through regular contact and meetingsGetting hands-on with TaxCalc, Kashflow, QuickBooks, Xero, Dext, Word and ExcelLiaising with HMRC and other bodies on behalf of clientsStaying sharp on the latest tax legislation, accounting standards and best practiceWorking as part of a team — no formal line management required

What We're Looking For

A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent) with solid practice experienceConfident managing your own client portfolio from start to finishStrong technical knowledge of UK personal and corporate taxA natural relationship-builder who enjoys client contactComfortable working across modern accounting softwareA team player who's happy to share knowledge and support colleagues
