IT Apprentice

Provide first-line IT support to colleagues in person, by phone, email and our ticketing system – logging, prioritising and tracking requests Diagnose and fix routine hardware, software and connectivity problems, and escalate anything more complex Set up, configure and hand over laptops, desktops, mobiles, printers and other equipment for new starters and projects Help manage user accounts, access and password resets under supervision, following our security policies Support our networks, Wi-Fi and cabling across offices and sites, and help roll out upgrades and new systems Keep the IT asset register and support documentation accurate and up to date Apply data-security and acceptable-use policies, helping keep JSM's systems safe and compliant Work safely at all times and follow health & safety appropriate to the task, including when working on different sites Complete your apprenticeship coursework and build your technical knowledge with our support

Training:
The Apprenticeship is delivered as a weekly day release at our campus in Stratford, E15 Level 3 Information Communication Technician Standard Behaviour, Skills and Knowledge

Training Outcome:
After successfully completing the apprenticeship there is the possibility to progress onto the Level 4 Network Engineer apprenticeship and secure a role within the organisation
