Experienced Room Leaders looking to progress into management are encouraged to apply.   The Role   As our Room-Based Third-in-Charge, you'll lead your own room while supporting the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery. You'll help maintain outstanding standards and take responsibility for the nursery when required.   Key Responsibilities Lead and inspire your room team to deliver outstanding childcare and educationSupport the daily running of the nursery alongside the management teamAct as key holder, including opening and closing the nursery when requiredMaintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety and complianceEnsure staff ratios, registers and daily routines run smoothlyCoach, mentor and support the development of your teamMonitor children's learning, observations and planning to ensure high-quality outcomesBuild strong partnerships with children, families and colleaguesSupport inspections, quality improvement and continuous developmentPromote the nursery and provide excellent customer service

Step into a leadership role in the absence of the Manager or Deputy Manager

 

What We're Looking For Level 3 Early Years qualification or aboveExperience as a Room Leader or senior Early Years practitionerStrong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirementsExcellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
