I am looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join the opening team of a new Asian restaurant in Malta.

This role is ideal for a chef who enjoys working with high-quality ingredients, has a passion for Asian cuisine, and is excited about the opportunity to be part of a new opening from the beginning.

 

Role overview

As a Chef de Partie, you will play an important role in supporting the kitchen team and ensuring the preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes during service.

You will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain excellent food standards, contribute ideas, and help create a successful opening.

Key responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to the restaurant’s standards.Take responsibility for your section and ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.Assist with daily mise en place and food preparation.Maintain consistency, quality, and attention to detail in every dish.Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen procedures at all times.Ensure your section is clean, organised, and efficiently managed.Support stock control, deliveries, and proper food storage.Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.Contribute to menu development and the successful launch of the restaurant.Maintain a positive and professional attitude within the team.

What we are looking for

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie ready for the next step.Experience in Asian cuisine, Japanese cuisine, sushi, or Korean cuisine is highly preferred.Good knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.Strong attention to detail and passion for quality food.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.A reliable, motivated, and team-oriented approach.Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
