My client, a leader in advanced defence technology, is seeking a Senior Radar Systems Mathematical Modeller to join their dynamic team on the Isle of Wight. What you’ll be doing:
Developing and evolving mathematical models and simulations to support high-performance radar systems Identifying system enhancements through modelling, and proposing innovative algorithmic solutions Supporting multi-disciplinary teams to implement and verify real-world radar performance Analysing system performance and trade-offs to refine design decisions across various operational scenarios Using post-trial data to inform future radar development and provide evidence for system acceptance Applying systems engineering principles to drive end-to-end radar solution developmentWhat we’re looking for:
A strong mathematical and engineering background with a problem-solving mindset Proficiency in simulation and modelling tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Python, MathCAD or similar Understanding of real-world radar system limitations and performance variables A relevant STEM degree or equivalent practical experience in radar, modelling or systems engineeringWhy join?
