 Support community fundraising activities and events   Build relationships with local supporters, schools, community groups and businesses   Support communications with donors and supporters   Support fundraising campaigns and promotional activities   Research new fundraising and partnership opportunities   Help raise vital funds that make our services possible 

Training Outcome:
Fundraising is an essential and important part of the charity and not-for-profit sector It creates a number of opportunities to progress into a broad range of roles, including philanthropy and major gifts, corporate partnerships, direct marketing, individual giving, fundraising events, community fundraising and legacies

Employer Description:

Action for Carers Surrey is a local charity that makes a real difference to the lives of unpaid carers—people who look after a family member, friend or neighbour who could not manage without their support.

We work with young carers (5-16), young adult carers (16-24) and adult carers (25+) to provide practical advice, emotional support, training, events, wellbeing services and opportunities for carers to connect with others, helping them maintain their own health, confidence and independence while caring for someone else.



Working Hours :
This role is primarily Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm, but will need to work flexibly to include some evenings and weekends to support events and community activities. We can offer flexible working, particularly to accommodate any caring responsibilities.
