Maxximas permanent team are recruiting for a experienced Clincial Pharmacist to work for one of the leading providers of specialised medical care in the world, focused on providing clinical excellence and superior patient outcomes.
We are recruiting Rotational Clinical Pharmacists who will be reporting to the Clinical Pharmacy Services Manager.
The post holder will be supporting a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Pharmacy service.
These 24/7 services are an important element of our vision to provide excellent pharmaceutical services to all patients irrespective of the time of day.
The post holder will be enrolled and supported through essential post-graduate education.

With patient safety as our main priority, we have deployed cutting-edge technology and innovative processes to support a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Pharmacy service.
This includes unit dose production and dispensing as well as comprehensive CIVAS to ensure the right medicine is prepared for the right patient at the right dose through the right technique.
We are operating a closed loop medicines management system including automated stock management to ensure timely and efficient supply of medicines to clinical areas.
The unique barcode medicines administration at the bedside and a fully integrated system for the electronic health records supports safe and effective prescribing, clinical screening and patient monitoring.

On a typical day you will:
- Responsible for ensuring that the blood groups of donors and patients are compatible
- Operate and have an advanced level of understanding of complex and intricate/complex analytical instruments that require maintenance, calibration, internal & external controls
What will you need to succeed in this role?
- You will need to apply clinical reasoning skills to a range of patient requirements, possess knowledge of pharmacology and have experience in working with different teams, data analysis and electronic systems.
You will also be a GPhC registered pharmacist, and have the ability to critically analyse challenging situations, apply problem-solving skills, as well as be able to work in a pressurised environment with minimal supervision.
