Service Care Recruitment are looking for a Life Skills Coach to work for a non-profitable private learning and physical disabilities independent living support service in Northfleet, Kent for a full time position.

Hours: 35 Per week / Full time / Permanent Contract: Temp to perm Pay: £11.90ph Week Days - £12.40 ph weekends (Paid via an umbrella company) Location: Northfleet, Kent Employer Information The charity its heavily integrated into the local community with supported living services, outreach teams and a charity shop ran by service users.

They work with those which have conditions resulting from Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus in every aspect of their life where they may need support.

Role: You will be working as part of the Independent Living Project which is a service set up to the integration of the service users into the community from their supported living services.

Your days are always different developing and supporting with life skills.

You will be providing support with their physical health, promoting fitness and healthy eating and social communication skills.

Each service user will require varying degrees of assistance and support depending on their individual needs.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has supported people with a range of needs.

The service provides internal training to all its staff as well as opportunities for career development such as funding for qualifications and annual salary reviews.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential to have previous experience within a learning and physical disability support role
Essential to be a driver
Flexible towards shifts times across week days & weekends
Preferable to have a valid enhanced DBS
