Being told you have a visual impairment that can't be treated can be difficult to come to terms with.
Some people go through a process similar to bereavement, where they experience a range of emotions including shock, anger, and denial, before eventually coming to accept their condition.
An opportunity has arisen for a UX Assistant to join an incredible Tech4Good start-up who have set out to make a huge positive impact to the millions effected by this .
Looking to bring their incredible product to market by the end of the year, this start-up will offer visually impaired a revolutionary product that will allow them to be far more independent.
As UX Assistant, you will be one the first official key hires and lead the consumer research efforts in Vienna; with product trials and communicating insights from consumer feedback to the founder and product development teams.
With a goal of official product launch by the end of 2023, usability testing is going to be hugely important to make this a reality.
As the UX Assistant, you'll organise meetings, coordinate project activities, and Maintaining project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and other consumer feedback-related materials.
You'll also assist with identifying research goals and designing research studies, and collect and analyze data to identify user needs, pain points, and preferences.
To achieve this effectively, I am looking for someone with the following experience -
Analytical skills: Ability to analyze and synthesize data to identify patterns and insights that inform design decisions.
Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present research findings and insights to team members and stakeholders.
Attention to detail: Ability to collect and organize large amounts of data, maintain accurate records, and adhere to research protocols.
Collaboration skills: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers.
Passion for startup experience and willingness to turn a hand to whatever the role may demand.
