Audit Financial Accountant (ACCA / CIMA/ ACA Qualified)

Location: Stockport

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum

Full time, permanent

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced audit accountant - for their ever-growing firm.

They specialise in estate, commercial as well educational and health sectors to a very diverse portfolio.



? The candidate must be fully qualified ACCA / ACA or CIMA , They can consider partial too.
? Excellent experience Internal & External audit is essential for this role.


Duties:

? Co-leading with the Management Accountants on the 3 annual audits and dealing with the queries relating to these
? Consolidation of 2 group accounts including profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow statements
? Ratio and Breakeven analysis
? Preparing various reporting and regulatory information to a wide range of external stakeholders such as ONS, Auditors and Companies House.
? Assist in the automation of financial processes to speed up decision making


The ideal candidate must have:

? Newly qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA),
? Internal Audit
? External Audit
? Group Audit
? Proven experience with double-entry system interfaces and familiarity with profit and loss and balance sheet accounts.
? Previous experience with accounting packages would be required
? Demonstrable experience of working on internal and external audits
? A strong working level of IT literacy including Microsoft office package, namely - MS Excel
? Excellent communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with the finance team and other departments.
? Methodical, autonomous, and diligent approach with discipline of working to tight deadlines within a team environment
? Strong attention to detail and service ethos
