An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager / Team Leader / Senior Residential support worker to join a residential childcare provider supporting children and young people through safe, nurturing homes with personalised care to help them achieve positive outcomes and independence. As an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager / Team Leader / Senior Residential support worker, you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high-quality care, safeguarding standards and effective staff support. This role offers a salary of £34,500 and benefits. Senior Support Workers or Team Leaders looking to progress into an Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager role will also be considered. You will be responsible for: ? Assist the Registered Manager with the home's Statement of Purpose and operational standards. ? Act as deputy in the Registered Manager's absence, providing leadership and guidance to the care team. ? Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for children and young people. ? Ensure care plans, risk assessments and documentation are maintained in line with statutory requirements. ? Contribute to the development and review of personalised care plans based on young people's needs and wishes. ? Work collaboratively with social workers, health professionals, families and external agencies. ? Maintain a strong safeguarding culture and ensure child protection procedures are followed. ? Guide staff through supervision, training, development and professional growth. ? Assist with staff recruitment, induction and retention activities. ? Coordinate shift planning, staffing levels and effective oversight of the home. ? Promote young people's wellbeing and implement Positive Behaviour Plans. What we are looking for: ?
