Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) -  Curtain Sider + Box Trailer work - No handballing
Location: Rochdale
Pay Rate: £18.49 - £20.17 p/h (includes rolled up holiday pay)
Shifts: Days and Nights - START TIMES 04:00-08:00 & 14:00-19:00
Experience: 12 months Class 1 experience essential

As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:
A mixture of Curtaiin Sider and Box Trailer work 
No handballing requiredCurtain Side work - trunking but strapping & curtain movement requiredBox Trailer work - some runs require pallets to be moved with a Pallet truck but the rest are purely trailer movementsCompleting daily vehicle checks and defect reportingComplying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulationsCompleting all relevant paperwork and electronic records accuratelyWhat We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving LicenceAt least 12 months' commercial Class 1 driving experienceA valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC) and a valid Digital Tachograph CardA professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer serviceOur client may accept up to 6 penalty points. Unfortunately, applications with DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements cannot be accepted.

Applicants must be UK residents and able to travel independently to and from the site. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
