IT Operations Analyst Apprentice

The IT Apprentice will join our IT team within a dynamic financial services environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in core IT operations, infrastructure engineering and secure data handling processes. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to the smooth running of critical financial systems. Some of the key duties and opportunities are:

Assist with financial batch processing and monitoring scheduled jobs Support secure file transfers between internal systems and external partners Participate in infrastructure administration, including user account management, hardware setup, and software deployment Help maintain and monitor backup systems to ensure data integrity and recovery readiness Contribute to the implementation and documentation of process controls and IT procedures Respond to basic IT support requests and escalate issues as needed Maintain accurate records of activities and changes in systems Collaborate with other departments to ensure IT services meet business needs

Training:
ICT (Information Communications Technician) Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT apprenticeship team to increase your skills Your training will include gaining a Level 3 IT qualification. Training schedule has yet to be agreed

Training Outcome:
Potential full-time position for the right candidate after completion of the apprenticeship
