Motor Mechanics Apprenticeship
You will be employed full time in a garage and attend college one day each week on our Level 2 motor vehicle programme with progression to Level 3 on completion.
This course will provide:

Training:
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying
Training Outcome:
Following the completion of your Intermediate Apprenticeship (18- months), we recommend that you continue onto an advanced apprenticeship (12-months) to become a fully qualified Light Vehicle Technician There are then a number of opportunities for progression within the motor industry, including (but not limited to): MOT Tester, Senior Technician or Workshop Manager
Employer Description:
The employer will be a local garage in your area, which we will work with you to identify and secure. You will spend four days gaining hands-on experience in the workplace, developing practical skills and learning about the day-to-day operations of the automotive industry. This placement is designed to help build your confidence, experience, and employability.
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday - times to be confirmed. Possible weekend work.
