Pharmacy Services Apprenticeship
As a Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprentice, you will work alongside an experienced pharmacy team to provide excellent customer service while developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for a successful career in pharmacy. You will receive full training and support throughout your apprenticeship
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with the safe dispensing of NHS and private prescriptions under the supervision of qualified pharmacy staff. Serving customers in a friendly, professional and confidential manner, responding to queries and directing patients to the appropriate member of the team where necessary. Receiving, checking and storing pharmaceutical stock and ensuring shelves are well stocked and organised. Processing deliveries, monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock rotation to minimise waste. Using pharmacy computer systems to process prescriptions and maintain accurate patient and stock records. Supporting the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean, safe and compliant working environment in line with pharmacy procedures. Developing an understanding of medicines, pharmacy legislation, confidentiality, health and safety, and customer care. Working towards the Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship by completing training, attending reviews and applying learning in the workplace.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is reliable, eager to learn and enjoys helping people.
Full training will be provided, and the successful apprentice will gain valuable experience in a busy community pharmacy while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

Working Hours :
Shifts will be structured to fit with the Pharmacy Team and Apprentice’s Course requirements and may include Saturday working.
