Our client, a respected business in the engineering sector, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team in Plymouth. This role focuses on setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision components. The position requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

The Role

• Set and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers and verniers.
• Report non-conformances and assist with root cause analysis.
• Maintain machines in good working order.

Required Expertise

• Minimum 3 years' experience operating CNC milling or turning machines in a precision engineering environment.
• Competent at reading engineering drawings.
• Experienced with manual measuring equipment.
